Ginkgo Tree in Yonggye (Yonggye-Ri, Gilan-Myeon, Andong, Natural Monument No.175)

This 700-years-old tree is one of biggest trees in korea. It is 37meters high and 16meters around, which requires fourteen adults to embrace it. It is said that the tree sadly moans whenever a misfortune is about to befall the nation.

Mt.Gyemyong Nutural Forest Area

Mt.Gyemyong Natural Forest Area is located 530m above the sea level. It is equipped with housing facilities, like the Forest Culture Center and the House in the Wood and also well equipped with friendly housing facilities, such as a swimming pool, camping sites, a field kitchen, campfire sites, clay rooms, and clay roads. The resort area can accomodate 340 people a day.

Murueng Resort (Mureung-Ri, Namhu-Myeon, Andong)

This is a cosy resting place where you can enjoy a smoothly flowing river, sleep cliffs, and strange rock formations remin iscent of legends of ancient times.

Amsan Resort (Mureung-ri, Namhu-myon, Andong)

Below a Chinese arborviate(Natural Monument N0.252) flows a river where visitors can enjoy boating in summer and skating in winter.
