Lee Minjeok built it, a Jinsa, in Year 37 of King Yeongjo (1761) to bond brotherhood living together with his elder brother Okbong Lee Minjeong. 'Chehwa' means harmony and brotherly love among brothers. The signboard of 'Damrakjae,' at the rear side of the signboard of Chehwajeong, was known to have been written by the famous painter of the Joseon era, Danwon Kim Hong-do. There are beautiful crape-myrtles that go harmonized along with the gazebo. In the front, there is a pond with three artificial islands.
