Naturally Flowing Alkaline Bicarbonate Spring Water from 745 Meters Beneath the Bedrock of Hakgasan Mountain Andong Hakgasan Hot Spring began with a thermal well developed in Myeong-ri, Seohu-myeon in 2005, followed by construction in 2006. The facility officially opened on September 12, 2008.
Situated on the southeastern slope of Hakgasan Mountain, near the thousand-year-old Gwangheungsa Temple, this hot spring offers water with a pH of 9.8. It is rich in sodium bicarbonate and naturally contains lithium and strontium.
The three-story facility spans about 6,600 square meters and can accommodate over 1,000 visitors. It features outdoor baths, a bade pool, and themed event spas, along with Korea’s first Lumilite Sleeping Room. Amenities include a restaurant, snack bar, beauty salon, barbershop, and conference rooms, making it a perfect spot for both relaxation and leisure.
