Woryeonggyo Bridge is a wooden pedestrian bridge that symbolizes a touching story of devotion and love. It was built in the shape of mituri (traditional hemp shoes) to commemorate a woman who wove a pair of shoes using her own hair to honor her late husband. Known as the longest wooden bridge in Korea, it features the Woryeonggyo Pavilion at its center, offering scenic views by both day and night. Every summer, the city of Andong hosts the Wolyeong Night Stroll festival around the bridge area, adding to its charm.
